Final week of the first month & accomplishments

If I look back on this first month of the new year I can say that I feel accomplished. I have taken on two new endeavours, followed through and learned new things. This has left me feeling refreshed, worthwhile and wanting to continue to learn.

I completed the crochet 2 class last Thursday and then finished my project Friday night. Here is my first crochet project. Feeling quite proud and love the colour combination that I chose.

Feeling adventurous I went on You Tube and discovered an instructional video by B.hooked using the bobble stitch. Had some yarn and away I went to try this new stitch out, the stitch was easy but I still have issues with my counts and ending up going wonky at the sides at times.  Made a mini blanket that I intend on put on top my cushion to help keep the Meow Meow off it. Going to buy some nice grey yarn and attempt my first afghan using this stitch...wish me luck!!

My first camera class was great, We learned about all the buttons on the camera and had general discussion about what the class was all about. I will definitely find it useful and look forward to getting the camera off auto.  Did a little bit of my 'homework' and will be practicing again today.

Excitement is growing as this will be happening in approximately two weeks. Miss Harlow Grace (as of now that is her name) will be joining my family.

January has had some bumps in the road in terms of me still going into the negatives/complaining but all in all I would say it was a success as those moments were much less than in the past. Operation Believe in Me has had a very good start and I look forward to new things next month.
