Am working on my healthy changes and so far so good. Have made sure to have something for breakfast, usually a protein shake and packing my lunch for work (healthy) and filling up on veggies for dinner instead of rice and forgoing a second helping. Not snacking at night is hard, those munchies are going to be hard to fight, lol. Also joined the workout group at work and did my first workout--yay me!
I have signed up for a crochet class this Thursday and since Michaels had 50% off their classes I also signed up for the second one. Making afghans, hats, socks and mitts are my goal and I think if I keep my hands busy I will be less likely to give in to those food cravings. If I find I am successful I may take on knitting next.
Bought the crate and a couple of toys in preparation for my little bundle of chocolate that will be here in 4 weeks. The excitement is building as I go meet her in 2 weeks, it will be so hard to leave her there but I will be taking lots of pictures to tide me over and of course show her off at work.
Winter has finally decided to make an appearance. Yesterday my car doors were frozen shut and I had to go in the passenger side to start the car so it could defrost. We had a bit more snow (maybe a couple of centimetres on the ground) and it looks so pretty out, but I do not like the below zero temperature. I think I may grab my camera and head down to the waterfront and take some pictures.
'Believe in Me' is on track and I am feeling pretty good about myself! :)
