I think the three words in my post title sum up how I am feeling and where I'm at. I am truly feeling happy within and want to bask in this feeling. Stepping out and trying new things have me feeling excited and looking ahead. It was hard to take that step, I've wanted to do things but just never hit that 'send button' so to speak. Now I am, I am living for me and oh what a feeling!! Improvements still to be made but I am feeling good about it.
Started a crochet project Monday that will hopefully be a blanket for the B-man. It is a nice grey and done in the new stitch I learned, the bobble stitch. I may have it done by the time he is 28. . .he's 18 now. Is it bad that I already have another project planned?
Exciting news!! I met my little Harlow, what a doll! She is snuggly and has the sweetest little face, I am completely and utterly smitten. Of the five females she was the most mellow, just kind of hanging back but once I held her she was quite content to curl up on me and sleep. The best news is I am getting her tomorrow! Puppy heaven is commencing in less than 24 hours. How can you not love this face?
I have homework from my camera class, guess who will be featured in most if not all of the shots? <3

Happy Easter!!
Oh how I loved this long weekend! Got some things accomplished around the house inside and out. Also enjoyed the beautiful weather we had, love having my windows open :)
Outside we did a little bit of clean up, the dead leaves out of the garden and the debris left from when they replaced my front window (which was done in November). We may have pulled up a plant that was supposed to come back but we'll see, lol. In another couple of weeks I will go play in the dirt and get my gardens ready for new plants and a good sweep of the deck. Also have to buy a new cover for my gazebo as a good storm kind of ripped the other one to shreds, thankfully it was October so I was getting ready to take it down for winter anyway. Of course a new one is $90, but so worth it as I enjoy my little covered space in the shade during the summer.
The inside saw a really good scrubbing of the bathroom.........even the baseboards are shining. Elbow grease and my ceran top stove looks almost brand new again. Don't get me wrong I do clean, but I really cleaned. House smelled like vinegar but not too strong and in a good way with the breeze coming in through the windows. Also changed out my shower curtain from dark brown to bright white getting ready to kiss winter goodbye!
Celebrated Easter Sunday at my parents for wonderful ham and scalloped potatoes as well as some good laughs. Of course there was a little chocolate cake for dessert. Also cheered on Boston beating Detroit in hockey (shhhh! I am surrounded by rapid Red Wings fans in my neck of the woods). Came home and cheered on Montreal, Go Habs Go!! Watched Game of Thrones, yes I am addicted, yes I have the books, no I haven't read the books yet. Finished my laundry and settled in for the night happy in the knowledge of not having to set my alarm for Monday. Did I mention I liked long weekends?
So here we are Monday and another beautiful day. We hit 80F and the sun was shining, windows were open and it was gorgeous! Got the groceries done and just relaxed.

Been pretty quiet this week. I do have some coupons to spend from winning the Digi Dares the other week. Need to go shopping I think!

Happy New Year!!
A brand new year and we are celebrating with lots of snow. I mean say WHAT?! It was snowing some last night when I went to bed but when I woke up and looked outside I couldn't believe it. It has been nonstop all day and looks so pretty out. Granted I didn't have to drive far today only down the road to pick the boy up and that was our venture for the day.
Here I am, the first picture of the year. One of my goals is to actually appear in more photos....as well as take photos. I don't think I've used my camera in months and I need to get back in the habit of using it. I have turned like everyone else, snap them with my phone.
From the DASH-board; our newest family is doing well. Although he is a notorious counter surfer, proof was Saturday afternoon. We left and I apparently didn't latch his crate and came home to find he had demolished a Terry's Chocolate Orange....thankfully I was only gone 5-10 minutes. Let's just say things were a little explosive for a few days, and the one day it was both ends. Yes I began question why I wanted a dog again. We have all survived and the leftover Christmas chocolate is kept waaaay high. Have to find a way to stop my little Dash the Wonder Dog from this behaviour, Dog Whisperer website here I come!
House is de-Christmassed, we watched the Winter Classic--Leafs won in a shoot out and I decided (begrudgingly) that maybe it was time I did some laundry. Tomorrow is dentist and then dinner with some friends.
